Introduction Task

Hye and Assalamualaikum. I am Nur Hanisah Bt Hamzah, B.Ed Tesl student from U8C class. Currently, I am in my last semester of my study and just finished my practicum session in SMK TTDI Jaya. In my family, I am the eldest daughter from four siblings and both of my parents are goverment servants. My mother is a teacher and my father works as an economic affair officer in Federal Agriculture Marketing Authorities (FAMA). I would like to become a teacher as I have passion towards teaching and this ambition is fully supported by my parents.

In terms of my computer skills, I would rate myself as a novice user. I know the basic computer skills and I can use the basic Microsoft proggrame such as Excel, Words and Publisher. I usually utilize the Microsoft Words programme for my assignments. Besides, I always surf the internet to seek for information and entertainment. However, I am new in creating my own blog or website. This is my first attempt of having my own blog.

Based on my knowledge, software is computer program that is created to help to ease works and documentation. For software, I always utilize online software in my study such as spelling checker, online dictionary and grammar checker. On the other hand, hardware are computer parts such as motherboard and CPU.

Yes. Before this I have experienced learning through I-learn (download notes & share information) and also using Skype ( help online friend from other country in their essay writing task).

Yes, I have tried several times using computer to assist my teaching during my previous practicum session. Gratefully, all of them succeed and I achieved my goals. However, I have to start my class quite early whenever I want to use computer in order to avoid any unexpected problems to occur.

In my opinion, learning and teaching using computer is one of the best way nowadays as we all moving towards nation 2020 which demands a high usage of computer technology. Besides, learning and teaching using computer also seems fun, interactive and  best help students to focus in the classroom.

From this course, I wish to enhance my knowledge and skills in computer technology and to know on how to utilize all the facilities in my future teaching. I also hope that after this I am able to create my own website that can help students in learning as well as teachers in their teaching. After all, I promise to do the best in order to gain the best with support and guide from my lecturer.
